Absolutely. Especially when you're trying to pack -- you certainly don't need to be making dishes or leftovers.

Mmm, peanut butter Oreos. I did not know this was a thing.
... ION about me & my job situation, turns out I might have dodged a bullet. Looks like the team that I was looking to get hired into is completely disfunctional, they are in "failure mode" despite having more staff than any other similar team in the organization, and yet the team leader is refusing to ask for help or distribute his work outside the team. People are beginning to wonder why.
Now off for drinks with another ex-coworker! I am a networking FIEND.
Mmm, peanut butter Oreos. I did not know this was a thing.
I'm generally an Oreo traditionalist, but these are gooood.
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me...I didn't know peanut butter Oreos were a thing, either, but they sound like an excellent idea.
Go Consuela, mad networker that networks at midnight!
What was I thinking? Of course the Count is my favorite Sesame Street muppet. But it's a close race.
Consuela, I am confident you will end up -- quickly -- in a situation that is way better than what you're leaving.
I submitted an application for Fella.
eeeeee
I guess I should call someone about putting in a dog door.
Lee, I use this service a lot and really like them.
I've hired them to put in my dog door, install my new oven/stove (their licensed plumber did the electric-gas conversion, too), change out my old faucets in kitchen and bathroom, and all kinds of stuff. It's not super cheap (I think $110/hr) but they're efficient, nice, and I like that I can have a whole bunch of different kinds of things done in the same visit.
Thanks!
Bookmarking that myself....
Can't wait to hear how the cats react to a dog....
Got my car out of impound, got a court date next Tuesday (need to come up with an adequate excuse for work as to WHY I need that particular day off as comp).
I've been working with special needs young adults, and one of them has a ridiculous (I thought) crush on one of the staff at her Center. But, hoo boy, I need to join her club. He's cute, he's got a southern accent, he's got a cowboy hat, and he's ridiculously kind. Damn, he's married. Me and Dani will have to bond over the highschool flutters in our hearts. She actually shudders when she talks about him, and I'm so right on board.
