The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Boo. I was half way though filling out the adoption form for the group where John Bates is being fostered, but it says you shouldn't fill it out until you are ready to bring the dog home within a week, which I won't be until the first of May.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A good mother would blind herself?

It's the only responsible choice.

Someone came by to install software on my machine. Which required me to log out. Which required me to close all my windows and application.

That's a good idea. Some of that stuff was days old.

I should have taken notes, though.

Luckily she did not succeed in installing the software, so I will get to repeat the process, hopefully taking all the steps next time.

Lee, I vote for Fella or Gidget: terriers are often, well, terriers. They're not bred for obedience, as such.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I second Fella.

I would still let them know.

I definitely think I am going to fill out a form with the place that has Fella. I looked up where Gidget is, and it's pretty far away.

eta: I am going to find out when JB's people will be in the area again, and maybe go see them if it is before the end of April

Our wings are not tired.

Does anyone know anything about Basenji/Basenji mixes, especially how they are with cats?

Lee, they're pretty hyper and somewhat aggressive dogs, at least the ones I come across in my local park on a regular basis (small sample size).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dog! More exciting than flowcharts, even!

Walter loves to play with terriers, FYI.

(I assume Lee is looking at dogs from y'all's discussion, I'm not clicking on links right now...)

Good to know, javachik!

Hey -t, wanna bring Walter down to RWC and see how my cats react to him?

Okay! He's good with cats.
