Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I don't think I can buy anything here today. At least, the CVS across the street is closed. I don't know about actual supermarkets, but I think maybe everything is covered by the blue laws.

Trace Adkins just made me cry with a song about fishing with his daughter. It's going to be a long day.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

sarameg, spend as much time as you can in direct sunlight (especially walking) that will reset your internal clock fastest.

Has the parade always been just a series of ads? With the occasional marching band.

yeah, even if I can buy stuff today I am refusing. The insanity of more and more stores being open on Thanksgiving makes me sad.

I'm pretty excited that Goldfish crackers are finally in the parade, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, you're neck and neck with Matilda for investment in the holiday. She woke up and exclaimed, "I'm SO happy! It's Thanksgiving!"

She's not excited about Turkey or pie or parades. She's excited that she gets to help set the table.

Also she got dressed up and is wearing a bindi and a Minnie Mouse polka dot bow headband.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

She's a little troubled, and completely flabbergasted, that her father has not already completely decided on his Thanksgiving ensemble. How is that even possible? She's had hers all lined up and laid out for days; you can't just leave these things to the last minute.

I don't think the 5 am is jetlag. This just happens to me sometimes.

Man, Giant was nuts.

I managed to turn on the radio just as Alice's Restaurant came on. We're up to "inspecting and injecting every part of me" now.
