I am just trying to run the numbers. My take home is 66% of my gross income - is that pretty normal? Granted, I contribute to 401(k) and I pay towards insurance and I put money into FSAs, but I would need to do those same things at a new job (except maybe insurance, I could check on that).

After reading Bitches I'm seeing Nosilla as an antidote to Bridezilla.
Bridezilla RAGE I have 12 bridemaids and you must all cut and color and style your hair THE SAME! And wear GOLD Lame dresses that will have a special print in MY COLORS and you must walk on 4" stilletos AND NOT TAKE them off at the reception!

I don't have the Facebook redesign yet, but I am getting new layouts at Jezebel and the Times this week, and it's stunning how obviously they are designed to be read on iPads. It makes me feel really weird to be on my netbook (which has a sort of bizarrely short screen, so the highly horizontal iPad-y layout is extra-weird.)
