All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had fish for lunch, but it was sushi so not all that aromatic.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

She is not at all what I pictured in my head, but the more I look at her, the more of course that's what she looks like!

Wow, yeah. In my head she had long hair, I'm not really sure why. But I can totally picture her voice coming out of that picture.

Now tagless for your comfort.

John Fugelsang's Facebook page had the best quote: "People shouldn't say horrible things about Margaret Thatcher, says people who said horrible things about Hugo Chavez."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, yeah. In my head she had long hair, I'm not really sure why. But I can totally picture her voice coming out of that picture.

This is what I'm saying! Thank you.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

John Fugelsang's Facebook page had the best quote: "People shouldn't say horrible things about Margaret Thatcher, says people who said horrible things about Hugo Chavez."

There is one person on my FB feed who very primly moralized when Osama bin Laden was killed that it was wrong to be happy about the death of ANY human being, no matter who that person was; today, that person posted "Burn in hell, Thatcher." (Perhaps they don't think that qualifies as "happy." Still, the hypocrisy made me laugh. I sort of feel like linking them back to their own post. But I won't.)

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Jesse, wasn't that cool? Even though I feel a little insulted that women my age sort of get reduced to people going "Mom, you didn't tell me this shit would be HARD!" There are people somewhere who are torn up about the Thatcher thing, probably. Can't say I'm one, because she's a good example that just adding women to government doesn't automatically make it better for women.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister was gutted at Chavez's death, and had me TWEET THANKS TO FRANKIE BOYLE in order to celebrate Thatcher's. So, she's perfectly consistent.

Ha! It must be at least a little bit hard to resist.

If I were her sister, she could make me do it. Yay, found my purpose in life.

Okay, pushed the 1PM meeting back half an hour, let me get some lunch.

We have a car wash on site, and three times in a row they've turned me down--after lunch, after lunch (I'd only ever taken my car to them after lunch, and they had been able to take it then) and 10:00AM, and still no.

My car is embarrassingly dirty, but going to an actual car wash seems beyond me.
