Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

you people are hilarious.

I am doing work for my stupid job. I logged on to check if something was wrong with email since my blackberry had been silent all day, and low and behold I had a ton of email.

Things I am supposed to be printing off and having bound for a series of meetings on Tues/Wed (not for big boss) - well they are ready, but when I go look at them versus the agenda - they do not match up. For example - agenda says "Texas Presentations" - well there are 5 plants in Texas - WHAT ORDER?!?!?! I was told to have them bound by our geographic regions, but then the agenda says 2 plants from region 2 will be presented day 1, and 1 plants from region 1 will be presented day 2. SHOULD YOU MAYBE CHANGE THE AGENDA?!?!

But that annoyance is NOTHING compared to the note my boss put on the email where he approved my timesheet "per Tues, as we discussed, please make sure you arrive on time and inform me if any problem." Tuesday afternoon was when I got the write up. So I wrote back an email. "Going forward, I will do, as we discussed. As Tuesday was the day we had the meeting, my late arrival was prior to our discussions"

30 min late.

I am finishing this wine and going to bed. I have put in 2 hours of work tonight already.

Turds. all of them turds.

did my nails tonight, ready for an interview. it's still not scheduled, but I am ready.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Kermit, definitely. And Piggy, because I love Frank Oz. And Floyd and Janice.

Yes, I have trouble with the concept of "one".

msbelle, I am thinking an ongoing series of small inconveniences and uncomfortablenesses to your turdy bosses. A veritable rain of them, going on for quite some time.

Because books.

Kermit falls into the Muppets camp for me, and Sesame Street is separate in my head. If we're doing Muppets, I have a whole other list. (But Kermit is way up there. I think he was the only crossover Muppet, too, in terms of both shows.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

AHAHAHAHAHAHA YES.

Grover is the best Sesame Street Muppet. Kermit is the best Muppets Muppet. It is known.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yes!

Grover is my Sesame Street fave. Elmo is the little red menace. (That's actually an Oscar the Grouch line from Sesame Street Live).

Margaret Thatcher died.

(I'm feeling a little bad for not realizing she was still alive.)

I was hoping the bus would be better than the train today (Cubs home opener) but LSD is at a crawl and the windows are so fogged up I can't even tell where we are.

I didn't know Thatcher was from Grantham.

Because books.

The only downfall to being a Grover fan is trying to read The Monster at the End of This Book in Grover's voice. One, that's not easy by the end, and two, do it once, you have to do it again every single time.
