Because books.

Thanks, everyone! It's sunny and springy here, which is nice birthday treat. And later, there will indeed be cake.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo birdies Amy!

I had a really great chiropractor who did wonders for my back pain, never made any woo-woo statements, and helped me set up a visit to an orthopedist when I developed frozen shoulder.

Significantly, perhaps, his treatments were more massage than adjustment.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Happy Birthday Amy!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMY.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My in-laws are upstairs. I don't know what they're doing.

I, however, am downstairs watching strange British TV.

Happy birthday , Amy!

I'll be heading to a wine tasting in about 40 minutes. I'm walking, so it's a net healthy activity, right? Plus, since I'm not driving, I can drink more. Yay, health?

Happy birthday, Amy!

I went out to a food-pod party at the museum, which was kind of nice, and bumped into some friends, also nice. This afternoon I'm going shopping with a friend, and then I will make healthy roasted vegetables for dinner. So mostly a good day, I hope.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I swam laps at the Y while Dylan was having his swim class, and later this afternoon we're taking the kids to see Totoro on the big screen.

Currently I'm being bombarded with Star Wars questions that I do not have the mental capacity to answer because I'm also ordering the week's groceries in another tab. Why don't we see Anakin being born? But why doesn't the movie go back that far? Why isn't Emperor Palpatine a ghost? But why is he a Sith? But why did Anakin turn to the Dark Side? But why was he so angry?

I just remembered that I had decided to cut my hair today. And it needs it--the last cut was pretty terrible. I can't let this grow in any further. It's only hideable when it's micro short.
