Yeah, once you get to Denver the scenery is just amazing for the rest of the way to CA.

Very cool, tommyrot! Wave as you pass through Suisun (I'm pretty sure we are on your route but not a stop.
Mmm, salty avocado. I don't know from Kind bars, though.
I am grateful my in-laws are here packing my house. I am. I am.
But I may have already hit my limit on people in my space, asking me questions. Every time they ask about something, it feels like a judgment (which it totally isn't! I am just nuts!), and it's very tiring.
So it appears I'll be visting San Francisco in late June and early July.
Fun! What dates exactly since I'm going to be in Ohio from June 27-30.
Also, when they have little moments of bickering (totally normal!), it stresses me out.

Dunno exact dates yet, but I will soon. But I'll definitely be there the first week of July. I might arrive sometime between June 24 and July 1. So yeah, I'd love to see you guys and other Bay-area Buffistas. ("Bayfistas"?)
Secret confession, I really like packing. It's the unpacking I cannot abide.
Abide is my word for the day. I am not the Dude.
My desk is completely disorganized, but like Amy, if I can't see something it doesn't exist. It's not a good trait at a school site.
Kat,
I am ying to your yang. I prefer unpacking.
I have the "if I can't see it it doesn't exist thing" too.
Also, I still haven't finished unpacking from moving 7 or 8 years ago!
As I have mentioned with my house stuff wrt McPhee putting stuff out of sight. There is a level of me needing things within sight in order to keep on top of them, but at my desk at work, I have, over the years, learned to deal with a file system for certain thins and I can manage that in a drawer of need be. I would prefer it on my desktop though.
