I am wishing I could un-send an email.
I think Gmail has a function that lets you retrieve un-read mail. Am I mis-remembering?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am wishing I could un-send an email.

ok, filling out online application for 2 jobs in nearby school district. I am up to entering work experience. Reason for leaving current position? I am usually good with bullshit, but I've got nothing.
Would like to pursue opportunities in a less asshole filled environment.
My boss is a poopyhead. I can provide outside confirmation of this fact.
I think Gmail has a function that lets you retrieve un-read mail.
Alas, it wasn't Gmail. It was through Yahoo.
Reason for leaving current position? I am usually good with bullshit, but I've got nothing.
I think that IS your reason for leaving.
My son just Rick rolled me. I asked him to play music during the baseball commercial breaks (when watching MLB.tv, it just goes silent during the breaks) and what did he cue up for the first break? Darned kid.
So, out of 30 teams, my A's have the 29th lowest payroll. Sigh.
I sent a work e-mail that I'm now wabbling about but I'm trying to keep my self from hitting the recall button. Not that that is any guarentee that the recipient won't read it anyway. I passed off a couple of work things to another employee who has SUCKED at responding or doing what she is supposed to be doing, so I fired off an e-mail to her boss who isn't my boss.
Something along the lines of participating in an educational environment? (I don't know if you've mentioned your previous edu experience or not.)
Looking for a more stable environment? Schools are usually way stable. Or maybe want to work in a position that does work you can believe helps people?
The twins and I waited in line outside a lego store (right next to an Apple store) to get a free mini model to build in the store. An hour of waiting. 10 minutes of building. Sigh. They had a great time.
Or maybe want to work in a position that does work you can believe helps people?
This. And possibly family, your values, etc.
this is what I've come up with.
Changes in company leadership and department structure have resulted in new roles and responsibilities. I am looking for a more stable environment.
bitchy?
Maybe a little. Perhaps leave out "have resulted in new roles and responsibilities". Just change causing you to look for more stability.
Msbelle, you have experts on your team. You couldn't ask for better help.
The guy who drew the full colour ballpoint pictures answered my random "can I repost your art somewhere" dA note, as well as answering a couple questions about his stuff. It never ceases to amaze the level of connection that the internet can put at our fingertips. The learning opportunities are amazing. I saw a car today with the bumper sticker (among many, including handwritten signs taped to the window) saying "webs are for spiders." I'm not sure what the message is supposed to be there...are there significant pockets of people who think the WWW is so bad that other people shouldn't use it either? I did want to suggest to her that she use the internet to get slicker stickers, though. Zazzle would fix her right up. Her and Comic Sans would be a match made in heaven.
I'm trying to work out how much is too much when it comes to drawing random shit, and I think the sushi chef at lunch is perfectly fine, but trying to draw a woman wearing a subnet mask yesterday might have been a call for help. Also, really zero visual payoff. Sad on multiple levels.
Speaking of sad, I wonder if Ben Affleck is philosophical when he looks back at stuff like Paycheck. Because twenty minutes of that was really horrible. And many of the other actors were acting well.
