We get 60 hours of sick leave or personal time a year, which translates to 10 days off. They accumulate. But if you go out on maternity or need extended time for things like chemo, then you burn through that and then go to half day pay, which you also accumulate at something like 600 hours a year. When you leave, you get paid out for any sick leave or personal time, but not for half time pay.
Of course we also get school holidays.
The suck ass part is that when you are gone, it takes FOREVER to plan what someone else should do. Unless you have the gumption to say, "I don't care if they have a lost day!" Or when the kids were born, I said, "I don't care if they have a lost 8 weeks!" Now, though, if you get evaluated based on test scores, it may matter more.

I am dealing with not dealing by drawing. Does that work? Can I externalise and put reality in a piece of paper and then scan it and push it away from me? I think that's how that works.
Wow, Louis, CK. Your stuff that was not your recent stuff makes me wonder how you got to your recent stuff--maybe they just travelled back in time to 1996 after 2003 or so to get some History. But, shit, My kingdom for a set without "Uh, wife. No sex anymore. Can't porn. Wherefore jacking off?" I would be the best standups wife because I would PUSH HIM OR HER TO EXCEL. But the two episodes of Lucky Louis I saw were easily laugh out loud, camera count notwithstanding.
I bought new pens and they weren't the right pens. I wanted pens like my pens, but more excellent. Instead I have pens like my pens, but different. With these pens, depressing pictures take more work.
Anyone have a rec for a good (not expensive) pen in line with the Pilot Precise V5 but smaller nib? The tip of the Pentel Hybrid Technica is actually more ballpoint than rolling ball. I have either hit a ceiling or a conflation.

and it had us doubled over. The bit gives us the title where he complains bitterly about how people abuse language and have debased "amazing" and "hilarious."
