Oh, I just realised some of my problem--I found this web app [link] that amongst other things tells you how old a given tumblr is. MY TUMBLRSCAPE IS TWO YEARS OLD.
That's not even Tumblr puberty. Get off my Tumblr lawn.
I have been pushing cookies on people all day, and the lightbulb that went off over one developer's head when I mentioned that I'd made them. As if I'd give her any other cookies! Either it's Jamaican, or home made (sadly rarely both). And someone else I gave one to took one with that frozen smile of fuck-you-for-backing-me-into-this-corner and then came back two minutes later to tell me they're delish.
I KNOW. They're also fragile as all fuck, and too sweet for me to eat before they all explode into crumbs.
I still have a folder full of non-gluten free recipes, but I had to dig it out.
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup pumpkin
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or whatever combo of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and/ginger you want that adds up to 1 tsp.)
Preheat oven to 350. Bake in loaf pan for 50-60 minutes (or for muffins, start checking at 20-25 minutes).
t edit
You could add nuts, chocolate chips, or something -- I never do, so I can't guess the amount. Maybe 1/2 cup?
Awesome thanks! I don't have chicolate chips right now but I do have walnuts. Hmmmm.

My company is starting a program about improving work they are calling [Company Name] Way of Working. Our company name begins with L and is Belgian. So, yes, we are starting an program called L'WOW.
Ok, I added the apostrophe, BUT COME ON!!! I want to make t-shirts with a big cheesy sunburst on them and possibly a rainbow unicorn.

The O in L'WOW should be the big cheesy sunburst. And the unicorn should be jumping OVER the L'WOW.
I love L'WOW. I want a t-shirt.
I just got asked the same exact question by three people in three different offices. Gotta love Mondays
The Ws should be Glittery Elf Hands.
Hey, a question came up at the office here: how do Americans specify start and end dates for the seasons? Do you do calendar months, or kick them off at the solstices and equinoxes?
You mean sports seasons or Fall, Winter, Spring?
I believe we technically abide by the Equinoxi (!)/Solstices, but I tend to think about seasons (at least when I was in the midwest) according to weather. Spring is officially in March, but I didn't even consider Spring until late April. I called it winter from mid-November through mid-April.
