If the address is near you I'd drop it at either the police station or the DMV (whichever more convenient), if it is further away I would mail it. Only because I have lost my license and it is a pain to get it replaced.

Do you have reason to suspect it's fake? I'm assuming that the odds that you would be returning a legit license to its proper owner are higher than that you would be encouraging crime, using that letting x guilty go free rather than imprisoning y innocent principle, you know?

msbelle, you know the chandelier in my living room? That shocked me when I was painting my ceilings. Even though I've connected with it in the same way countless times since and it hasn't since shocked me. The wiring in this house is such that I just....yeah, whatever.

You mean, if you move, does the BMV update your license and send you a new one? Ohio doesn't do that, but then the Ohio BMV doesn't send licenses through the mail at all. You get your license when you go to the BMV for it.
