... and because my life is not complicated enough, I just got a call from my actual (contract company) supervisor, saying that the accounting people told her there's only another 25 hours left on the contract after this work week. She's not sure but she thinks I might have only until next Wednesday before I'm out of work.
Which is interesting because my boss, the guy who approves my invoices and who gives me work to do here, thinks there's enough money left on the contract to get me through to the very end of April.
WTF people.
Oh good lord. Seriously? I don't even know what to say to that.
It's officially my weekend, so I am kicking it off with a trip to the DMV. I know how to party.
I wish I could hire all the buffistas. I am a good supervisor. And I believe in giving good benefits.
Consuela,
I just put my head in my hands.
Scrappy,
Dammit.
Consuela,
Time for you to start a memo re: what is left on your projects so you can leave at any time. It might take you 2 days to do it.
JFC, Consuela. I would definitely spend a couple of hours writing stuff up and then check out, even if you're physically there for the two weeks.

le nubian for buffista business creator!
I am very glad I get tomorrow off, and got to stop work two hours early today! Which means now is NAPTIME.
Aw, the mom and kid next to me are speaking Russian. I can't understand them, but it feels, I don't know, homey to hear.
I'm next in the numbers that start with A.
Talk about insult to injury
All I can figure, someone at Consuela's work really wants buffistas to light some fires.
