I like working with my boss. We both know that everybody makes mistakes, so we both have no problem admitting when we screwed up. While my boss has gotten mad at me for slacking off, he's never been mad at me for a mistake.

I'm impressed you have an ethics hotline. What I wouldn't do for an ombudsperson.
Some people here seem really unsettled and annoyed that I will freely admit a mistake when I make it. My boss is, of course, top of the list. It's like a character flaw in his eyes.

I swear my biggest takeaway from the whole thing was I was glad to get an inside look, so to speak, at the process.

That's something I've had to learn to do, but it's been pretty staggering how much less stressful it usually is than sitting around wondering if anyone noticed or if shit is about to rain down on you.
I used to be super defensive at work, and then I got over it.
Has anyone stayed at Treasure Island in Vegas? 'Cause that's where I'll be next week.
I'm happy to admit to mistakes I've made, but I get very defensive when I'm dinged for not meeting a deadline after I've told people upfront how much time I'll need and then they're late releasing things to me to work on, or the amount of work suddenly doubles. I do not become miraculously able to work twice as fast just because someone wants me to.

All I know is, I'm pretty sure they want you to call it T.I. now, but not like the rapper.
Am I the only one who thinks seeing shrift's reaction to Vegas would be AWESOME?
Sadly, I already planned a trip for the end of April.

Ahahahaha, that's kind of adorable. Dumb, but adorable.

I've been before. It is the most ridiculous place.
I just told my coworker there are "a shitload" of Easter songs. Piety fail.
