You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I shall henceforth refer to him as Bill ORLY.

HA! billytea!

I've been watching Downton Abbey at the gym on phones and ipads. Oh my. It does make time go by on the elliptical. But it's so soapy! Also, by does the show hate Lady Edith so much? I knew that she would never get to marry.

Incredibly soapy. Maybe we should be discussing it in Minearverse!

It might be even too soapy for Minearverse.

You must be on Series 3.

Sue, yes. I haven't even gotten to Sybil's death yet. Maybe next episode? Lady Edith just got jilted at the altar. And I'm aghast that the dowager countess is all just "Let him go." WHAT?! That seems implausible.

brillig

Hubby really enjoys British period soap operas. He really liked Monarch of the Glen, thought that wasn't really period. I get frustrated with all the drama coming out of left field. Though Tom Baker's stint on Monarch was amusing.

Oh Kat. That show has no internal consistency. Remember how they were trying to marry Mary off to Strallen in S. 1? Now he's too old for Edith?? Two more eps. until Sybil. That wrecked me.
