Red Robin has gluten-free hamburger buns that are so soft and yummy that I nearly cried the first time I had one. I hadn't had a restaurant hamburger on a bun in years.

On this past Scandal, I adored that "You must be Olivia Pope." error. Because I do wonder sometimes, what the reality of a black woman having so much power in DC and consequently the US if not the world would play out like.
I'm not saying the show is non-fiction, but Olivia Pope is based on Judy Smith.
My commute is about 10 miles, including a slight detour to drop off Rose at daycare. We used to live 2 miles from my office, which was awesome. I miss being able to walk to work. But we lived in a crappy apartment with a terrible landlord and loud, beer-swilling, pot-smoking, car-door-slamming college students in the apartment next door/downstairs, so I don't miss that so much.
My walking problem, now that I've been really thinking about it, is that the 2 mile route is terrible, and the pretty route is much longer. Also Google Maps doesn't think I can cross in certain spots I'd need to cross to take the pretty route. Hmm! Must investigate further.

That was a good moment, I also liked that in the scene where they were bluffing the company officers/board members over the morality clause, they made a point of having at least one board member saying "Fine by me, bring it on."
Jesse, and I'm sure she has some fascinating stories to tell about that very subject.
Lee--that was good too. So much seems to hinge on everyone having something sordid in their past or current lives that it's nice to see...normal? I hope that is normal, anyway. But I've never seen an example of one of those docs myself.

Terrible in terms of scenery? It was weird to think that one of my jobs could have a PCH commute, that I could spend that much mandatory time with the ocean in view Right There, but I didn't end up taking that route unless something was wrong with my normal one. Depending on a highway with so few lanes didn't feel like an everyday gamble.
You know what's embarrassing? Assuming someone's (non-Anglo) name is a synonym for penis, and using that in calls and email, and then noticing their coworkers don't call him that, and it's not the name in his email signature.
But it is the name in his email address, so I had to ask. And he does tend to go for the Anglicised (Bowdlerised) version, but shit--not a relaxing convo to have with almost a complete stranger.
ita - that is so exactly the reason that work related emails should use email addresses that have some sort of relationshiop to a sender's actual name.
DH regularly takes the coastal route which is 45 minutes instead of 30, but so much more relaxing. I-95 vs A1A. Of course, it could be the abundance of bikini clad scenery that holds his interest in the slow road.
