Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It was nice out, if kind of cold, today, but now it is colder and windy and blustery and staring to snow. No thank you.
It's sort of sleeting, and now they are saying only 2-4 inches, which is in that zone where maybe things are cancelled and maybe not. If school is cancelled but the interview is on, mr. flea can probably stay home with the kids, but I was planning to take the bus, and who knows what it will be like getting downtown by bus. I basically have to see what the situation is at 7am and deal with whatever's going on. Have I mentioned I do not like uncertainty and am feeling unprepared for this anyway?
Good luck, flea. Can you take a cab there if need be? (Then a bus home, assuming the timing isn't as critical?) I love a backup plan, myself....
le nubian, I'm sorry, what I should have said was: I can't imagine why not!
We have possible snow forecast for tomorrow. Which isn't that odd except for the part where I'm in NC. MI, sure, I've worn a parka over my Easter dress there a time or two. But NC?
At least it's an early Easter?

It is full-on snowing in Northside. I'm starting to think Cincinnati has microclimates. (I realize you posted that an hour ago, so you may be having snow now, but about an hour ago it was snowing here. Not a ton, but big fat flakes that look so fake it makes me wonder if there's a movie props guy on our roof with soap flakes.)
I'm amused at the disparity between the news stations in their predictions -- Channel 5 was saying 5-8 inches, Channel 9 was saying 3-6 inches, and Channel 12 was saying 4-6 inches. (For Hamilton Cty./Cincinnati, not the northern counties.)
We're just supposed to get an inch of slushy snow. But it's my fault--I was assuming we'd get no more snow and they wouldn't need to salt the roads anymore, so I had my car washed last Friday.
Glad to know who to blame, tommyrot!
I just finished S3 of Downton Abbey. WTF?! Is there a zero population growth rule?
aurelia, ha! Sucky birthdays for all the Crawley grandkids, right?
