Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is cloudy and the view from my balcony is the Embassy Suites, so naturally I call bullshit on the whole thing.

Just kidding! But I do think tomorrow will be better.

Oh! Looked out the window and emptied my bag.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I do do windows first too, I think. I rarely unpack, especially if I'm alone. 1: Window, 2: Bed, 3: Bathroom, 4: Comestibles.

V. important.

Just came across this cool Sherlock (Baskervilles)/X-Files mashup. I swear, the existence of Sherlock has dramatically increased the mashup works. Everything's got a "lock" after it at one point or another.

Man, watching IO9 wish itself to pieces is mesmerising and sad. I wonder how long before everyone forgets this even happened.

hip deep in pie

I think I either look out the window or check out the bathroom. But I am an infrequent hotel stayer.

Though my trip this winter has given me the travel bug. I just wish the bug generated it's own cash.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I free Clovis and Prudence from whatever carry-on bag they were in, then unpack.

Whew, finished my Torah study and my iTunes U class, so I can spend the rest of the day watching TV and reading EW. Day of Rest rules!

Must remember to get to bed extra early because the clocks change tonight and I have to be in Vacaville for 6 AM. So if you see me posting after 9 chase me away, ok?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I always unpack in a hotel if I'm there for 3 nights or more. I just like having my stuff accessible. For the inauguration I was definitely unpacked and using the room to study.

I so want to buy bowling shirts for Noah and Grace for their birthdays, but it seems a tad like a waste. Well, maybe not if I get a non birthday shirt?

I always dither about unpacking. Living out of the suitcase can be inconvenient, but I feel like I'm more likely to leave something behind if I unpack.

Also, don't actually spend that much time in hotels so I don't have a routine.

Bowling shirts! I don't know if they would be a waste, but - so cute!
