The only plane I have ever flown had 2 seats. Just me and the instructor. The plane my son's friend flies is just 4 seats. They live in a tiny airstrip community where their garage is a hanger. We have tons of people here that own small planes. There is an itty bitty airport just a mile from my house. (well only for tiny planes except the Goodyear Blimp which parks there in a bigass hanger)
eta: indeed dcp!
The "little" airport near my house has lots of private jets that fly in and out, lots of them. Loud, esp near my kids' old school.
Suzi, it's here: [link]
It's easy and really delicious.
Snowquester has left mec with no power. It's cold. I want to watch tv. Sadface.
researchers are finding hidden side effects of drug interactions by studying web searches.
That's really neat!
I told the annoying coworker I didn't want to have dinner with her and her friend (because omg if I heard her hack and cough one more time...apparently not because she's sick, but her sinuses drain??). Ugh. Instead I am getting crepes. Yum.
What is this chocolate tea of which you speak? I'll bet the tea place around the corner just closed.
David's Tea. The ones I've tried so far are salted caramel, chocolate chili chai, chocolate orange, read my lips, love tea #7, and spiced carob. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM, I don't know what gave you that idea.
David's Tea.
Hm. The green room here is surprisingly devoid of tea. I probably should keep some in my desk.
Air is bumpy, yo!
Ha! Yep. I've only been a passenger but yeah, feeling the bumps is actually comforting to me. Kind of like I'd rather be on a rickety wooden ladder than a mechanical lift because I can tell what is happening when the ladder sways.
If I had a bucket list, hang-gliding would be on it. I'd really like to experience flight without motor noise. Not sky-diving though. That's just falling and I try to avoid that.
My rule: Why jump out of a perfectly good plane?
Not a fan of turbulence, but I'm more comfortable with it than I was years ago. I do not like the sensation of the bottom dropping out of my stomach.
My rule: Why jump out of a perfectly good plane?
Because you're falling with style!
I only did skydiving once but it was thrilling.
I like planes of all shapes and sizes. Gotta get a ride in a B-17 one of these days.
Eta; Oh, and a blimp.
