I feel like I deserve a big raise after all this, but really what will happen is that I'll be able to sell my house and buy another. Hopefully.

I must say that muffs strike me as an extremely inefficient means of keeping your hands warm--they're only useful if you're not doing anything but walking/standing.

I had a roommate who had some vintage one's and they had pockets in them, so they also acted like a small purse.
