Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pretty sure I can't afford the neurostimulator. It's still being remarkably difficult to find the cost of the procedure, but 20% is a pretty big percentage, and there are two procedures and we're definitely looking at five figures.

Well, at least I know.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Husband has a start date in Houston. Amen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay Nillybaby!

Yay Houston!

Boo healthcare. How's it going with the home nurse?

My coworker just gave a multimedia debrief on her vacation. Heh.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Baby is adorable. Unsurprisingly.

YAY Houston!! Can you share the date yet?

I have reached the hurry up and wait portion of my work day. I sent out a bunch of questions and NO ONE is answering me. Come on people!!!

Because books.

Yay, Dana!

ita, is that five figures out of your pocket or total? Not that it makes a big difference, I know.

NillyBaby! With the tiny fist! Oh, my ovaries.

Yay Houston! Boo costly medical.

Got preliminary word on new project...they're still trying to find someone in the Midwest, so at the moment I have sites in Wichita, Ames, Jefferson City, Sioux city, and Green Bay. And north dakota. Srsly? Hoping they find that Midwest person after not too long. Or that I could take a huge Midwest road trip. That would be kinda cool. A bit jealous of the person who has all of Canada (but is in the states!). And someone else has anchorage, which I might fight for later...but in good news, Portland and Spokane and ....Vallejo?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think what ita is saying is even with 80% of the costs paid, 20% of 5 figures is a lot of $$. I agree with this.

Congratulations Dana. So, are you packing the house? I am still not unpacked over here (home or office) so I'm dreading those steps on your behalf.

Dana, good news! I am sure you will appreciate the weather in Houston better than in eastern WA.

I have sort of caught up with my weekly reports, but that was unpleasant. Also kind of horrifying to see how repetitive the entries are: a lot of them are "Project X coordination with Y".

And now the realtor I've been working with on selling my folks' condo is falling apart because her father is in hospice and she can't keep up. I am still being required to re-sign paperwork I already signed, and the contractor just discovered a whole mess of rot & mold in a storage unit we will have to fix up before we close on Monday. JOY.
