Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Made it home OK. It only took an extra 20 minutes. But I did nearly get stuck trying to drive up a slippery hill--the traction control was on continuously for a minute as I climbed the hill at about 2 mph. (I kept on wanting to press harder on the gas pedal, but when the traction control is already on, more gas doesn't do anything.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Having small children is also an excellent party strategy for introverts.

Heh, buffistas who have met me in meat space have met my children for this very reason.

Because books.

Heh, buffistas who have met me in meat space have met my children for this very reason.

I would never peg you as an introvert!

Remember what happened in Boulder? I think that was a classic example of me being *on* for too long (plus being tired and getting sick), and just losing it all of a sudden.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I have no problems wandering around the office and asking the developers WHY they think that's the best term for that thing.

This also seems to be a large part of parenting a three-year old.

I often feel terribly shy when I meet Buffistas in person, sadly. I mean, you'd think that I'd be able to talk to people I've spoken to online daily for 12 years, but sometimes, no.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

To be perfectly honest, if I had a computer, you people, and twitter, I could be alone on a desert island indefinitely.

Ditto here, if you substitute TWoP for Twitter. I'm almost always happy to spend time with friends, but actually seeking interaction out aside from this board is so alien to me that I have to remind myself to touch base with my best friend every few weeks. My parents are really the only people whose company I actively pursue on a regular basis.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah, the one time I met Plei I was totally awkward and had trouble making conversation. I suspected afterwords that she thought me the most boring person ever, cause that is what I would have thought if I'd met me that day.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

pile of papers - GONE from my desk. Moving on to small scraps of paper and single papges from notepads. Pulling what useful info is on them that made me keep them and then tossing them.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The joy of meeting other awkward people is that they are too busy worrying that they, too, are the MOST AWKWARD HUMAN EVER!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I LOVE having something to do at parties/gatherings, and I love being behind a check-in thing at events. I was "in charge" of the cake at my BFF's wedding, and that was nice too. I am not sure if it is my innate personality, or the fact that I started working as a cashier at 15, so I have LOTS of scripts for what to say in those situations.
