Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The "Tim Burton to direct Unicorn Apocalypse" commercial is kind of awesome.

Someone just sent me the link to that. Oh, TIM. draws sparkly little bats around him

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Anyone else want to look up a clip of Ben & Matt's first Oscar win?

I'm having enough time finding clips of all the musical numbers I couldn't hear while I was at work with video only :(

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

After a lot of fighting, I watched Arrested Development for my sister's birthday, and really liked it. She watched Community in return, and really liked it. Now she's watching Supernatural and enjoying it so far, and I'm suddenly finding Norman Reedus (real high on her list) more attractive. It's like a weird non-zero sum game of obsession.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am in season 2 of Arrested Development and it is making me laugh out loud.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I cracked up that one of the Costume Design winners looked like somebody's aunt just back from a trip to Wal-Mart.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The first season of AD, and I didn't laugh out loud once, but it felt really weird how much I cared about them--Buster especially. I was watching it like a soap opera and so invested in his moods and stuff. But I did get in some good laughs before Charlize came and Thernoned it up (which I do not blame on her at all).

But we're in an unprecedented period of glasnost here, and obsession tradeoff--hell, I think she is becoming a Dean girl, if I'm reading between the lines. And me a Darryl girl...whoulda thunk it?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

OMG, Buster bothers the fuck out of me. I can't take him.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I need a photo of the boots HBC was wearing onstage for the Les Miz performance. Anyone with better google-fu want to help me out?

Sorry that I have no -fu to offer, but be it noted that the very moment she walked onstage I turned to megan walker and said, "Jilli needs those boots. Unless she already has them."

I'm quite peeved that Mirror, Mirror didn't win costume design. Come on, Academy! All this totally goofball pretty! These glorious wealthy, titled idiotic eyesores! Human chess pieces wearing these hats with working cannons! Plus, megan pointed out that the designer just died after a miserable battle with pancreatic cancer; even if she couldn't have won for doing utterly fabulous costumes just because they were in a mediocre movie (which, the hell? They've done it before -- she won twenty years ago for Bram Stoker's Dracula), couldn't they have squeezed out a pity Oscar?

Meh, it hardly matters. Even in the fantasy Oscars in my head, that's still the only award that movie won; every other category was swept by Moonrise Kingdom.
