Wow, that is really cool, Cass.
That would be so awesome if Taylor went to your alma mater, sarameg. Our close friends' daughter is going to our alma mater this coming year and it makes me really happy.
I got a second wind. I cleaned the kitchen and the dining room and I tidied the living room. Which will make the actual normal housecleaning tomorrow much more effective. I really need to take the recycling, though, if it isn't snowing. And buy copper tape. And a new crockpot.
Because I think my hide glue came! Along with some more film piezos. So I should be able to tackle Sammy's entire prototype project tomorrow.
I have no winds, second or otherwise. I'm up and worrying this morning -- right on schedule.
Timelies all!
Later today I'm hitting the library for a bunch of books I put on hold.(Agatha award nominations came out, and I am catching up.)
Who was it who got her eyebrows tattooed? I'm thinking about it.
Javachik, I believe.
My plans with a friend just got cancelled, so maybe I'll really clean the house?
I did permanent makeup on my eyebrows a few years ago, but they're pretty much all faded now. I'm going to get it done again, by a different person, in the next few months. It was such a joy not to have to "put them on" daily.
Is the fading away normal?
We got a few inches of snow last night and it is lightly falling for now. The forecast for today got bumped up to 6-10 inches. I hope CJ gets back from his winter overnight soon, visibility is good right now and the plows are keeping up with the snow.
So, the YA I bullshitted about in Natter after tommyrot prompted me with the woes of Enid is, slowly, crawling into being. 4500 words, roughly. I posted the very first bit in LJ and there's a link in GWW, for anyone who's interested. 4500 is pretty paltry so far, but even that wouldn't have happened without Natter.
I wish I could transplant some eyebrow to those of you who are lacking. Unplucked, I look like Peter Gallagher.
java, actually I don't mind the idea of them gradually fading away...I mean, what if I don't like it?
Sophia, ha! Me, I wish I could transplant the hairs on my chin to my eyebrows.
JZ, I haven't had time to read the story yet, but I'm glad it's going along well! Writing is fun.
