For some reason today I'm finding it ridiculously long that I've been in LA. I pulled on a Lucy shirt, whose timing means Kat and Burrell in Brentwood to me, before I was swallowed up in krav (I stopped buying non-krav workout clothes then), and sherbert on Montana. It's so weird to think of how relatively late in life we met each other (thinking back to that article Matt linked to about the difficulty making friends after university) and how much change there's been time for since then. Unfortunately not for the better in my case, but wow, are our lives not the same.

Efferdent! I'll buy some next time I go out. That might take the stains off the old pitcher I got from my gramma, too.

Greetings from the Neil House o' Plague. Thank god Hubby and me both got flu shots, so this should stay as bad colds. It's snowing, I have hot tea, and I need to find Hubby's Social Security statement so I can do the taxes. Fun.

My teamaker responds decently well to steel wool and an intermittent vinegar brew, but Efferdent sounds like a better cleaner--the steel wool can't get all up in everywhere. I guess it's time to nut up and errand.

Yeah, this. All y'all are way more in my life than many of my in the flesh friends, and here's the kicker, that's not a bad thing! I've moved seven times and traveled countless miles since I first had you, and you have been with me every step of the way. I miss my friends from college or Kansas or wherever, but I have never had to miss you.

I will have been in LA eight years as of this summer, which absolutely blows my mind.
