Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

We're looking in Eagle Rock. Following Colin around LA.

I'm taking Zoloft and Abilify, Steph. They suggested Lithium, but I said fuck off.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's Friday! What are people doing this weekend?

I'm going to mount my 3-D laser scanner in a project box, which I will attach to a camera tripod. And then maybe hack the firmware of the laser rangefinder, as its sample rate is only 1 HZ. (Yes, once per second.)

I feel like such a geek--I've never hacked firmware before.

Oh, and I'll see The Innocents (that movie Hec wrote the article about) with a friend.

That's a good idea, Meara. Kristen is a better choice since she's here and aware of my medications and history. She's allowed to call my doctor to discuss any issues of my mental health, as is Paula. I signed a bunch of paperwork for that in case I have a bad reaction or the medication isn't working.

Very cute! I like the little room with the built in table and benches.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, man, is it really Friday? I have lost all sense of time, with holidays and snow and tech crises and financial crises and whatnot.

I don't have any idea what I'm planning this weekend. I might head to the coffeehouse later today to chill with the SO while he teaches (or doesn't, as is the case more often than not, with students who are noshows). And I'm getting kinda hyped up again, so I probably will spend a good amount of time in the studio and working on the cigar boxes.

But I have no people or going out plans at all, and honestly? That's fucking fine with me. It has been a maelstrom of stuff to do lately, and will be again for the foreseeable future.

It is, which is weird for me too, because I have only worked three days since the last weekend.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I want to live in that house so bad.

I do wonder how other people approach some of these medical issues. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how much the neurostimulator costs, so I know if I can afford it or not so I can decide once and for all. It's been months, and no one is getting back to me with that info. Apparently it's hard to work out. I know I'm paying 20%, but I have no idea of how much. None at all.

Apparently there's a big article in Time about the ridiculousness of medical pricing and charging. It's bananas, is what. Edit: here. It's really long.

I'm excited for this weekend! Teevee tonight, yoga in the morning, a movie with my cousin tomorrow night, maybe more snow, regular Sunday family dinner.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm taking Zoloft and Abilify, Steph. They suggested Lithium, but I said fuck off.

I have such warm feelings toward Zoloft. It was the first AD I took, and it literally saved my life. I've heard good things about Abilify. I hope the new meds are a huge help for you.

Because books.

That is an adorable bungalow. WANT. Except, here.

We have no plans for the weekend yet. Maybe a movie? Laundry, for sure.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay for going out on the town, Allyson. I need to do that more often myself.

I totally support house hunting with Kristen. Hell, I totally support fake gay marriage with Kristen.

My weekend plans include grading and grading and maybe more grading. I'm thinking of taking the kids to see my sister and the horses too, if I can get the grading done.
