You know the only solution to this, right?
Affogato.

I think there's a cultural difference between software shops that sell software products as opposed to software services
I have worked for and with both, though.
Tep, I am lusting after that shirt HARD CORE.
I too have a ton of clothes I need to drop off at Goodwill.
Apparently it's supposed to snow like crazy? It's already pretty chilly here, 20 degrees. I'm supposed to tour the KC Google Fiber office tomorrow morning, and I really don't want to miss it.

Next time I'm asking you first. My solution was to wait for it to get cold and then toss it.
I could wear jeans to work every day, but as I've only one pair I don't. The NGO dress code can be pretty flexible. Some people come to work in lovely suits, some in the work clothes they'd wear in their home countries, and some in various interpretations of business casual. And then there's the classic public health professional "my field placement was more wide-ranging than yours" miscellany of tunic, trousers, scarves, and jewelry sourced from as many continents as one can claim to have worked in. I'm just jealous that I can only wear a necklace and shawl from Senegal with my J.Jill outfits.
Today I'm working from home in sweat pants and a Valhalla Calling t-shirt.
Every time I come to work in a nice outfit, it winds up being a day where I have to crawl around repatching cables. So I've more or less given up on ever wearing a skirt again. I have 4 pairs of identical black pants from Old Navy that look fine and I don't mind getting dirty.
I finally got dressed. I chose my basic punk uniform: black cargoes, black fitted T shirt, red bandana, black hat. I either look like I'm about to plot the violent overthrow of the government or maybe do some work on the railroad.
It is also now snowling like crazy, so our snow day is finally justified here. (Ha, leaving that typo!) All the local schools closed, so it must have been worse there than here, but it was mild enough up until now I put the dog out to enjoy the sunshine. Now it's suddenly all HOW MANY FLAKES CAN I FIT IN THIS SPACE?
But I'm having Guinness and barbecue chicken pizza for lunch AND I found the last software installer I needed so it's all ok.
I wear a skirt and sweater or a LS knit dress every day. So not super dressed up, but pretty safe in the business casual world.
Ah well. That apartment rejected me.
I generally wear dresses on the days I'm at sites. And pajamas on the days I'm home. ;)
