I'm about to give up the notion of ever doing a marathon again. I had the foot surgery for the bunion pain, and now the foot doctor says my new foot pain is arthritis. I did walk home from work yesterday, about 1.2 miles, and often bike to work (like today). Since I am on the 3rd floor I try and do the stairs at least a couple times a day.
Thing is, I am a mile from the beach. Really no reason not to catch the sun rise or moon rise, like daily. We have a lovely beach with a great fishing pier. No excuse. So maybe no more 26.2 in my future, but a regularly schedule couple of miles on the beach would be good.
Like flea I think the only time I ever got the endorphin rush was childbirth, and so not going there again.
I definitely feel better about myself/life if I am exercising regularly. Sadly, that seems to not be enough to make me DO it...
I get the endorphin rush from sex (yay!), but I never did from childbirth. I don't remember it feeling that great, anyway.
Two hours to go! Man, it's sad how quickly the novelty of a new job turns into clock-watching.
Skipping oh-sigh because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is one of those lovely double Buffista events, since it's the birthday of both Beverly and Benno.
Happy birthday, Beverly! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Happy birthday, Benno! I can't believe what a big almost-not-a-boy-anymore you are!

Not during for sure! But immediately after the euphoria and energy was quite remarkable.
Immediately after I always wanted to pass out. I was doing childbirth wrong!
I'm pretty sure if you end up with a live baby, you're doing childbirth right.
This is the first day when it feels like I don't have a job. I guess i'm going to have to do something about that. Besides look in despair at my resume, and play Facebook games.
