That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am watching the Bomer and DeKay thing. They are such giant dorks I love them SO MUCH. Now I want to watch that Dance Dance Revolution YouTube thing again.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just played the red-shouldered call here

Just played it. Percy ignored it, Leo sat up and looked around like WTF, and the Gray Cat leaped up with his ears laid back and is still keeping watch. You can tell which cat was a stray.

Pumpkin is the only one who likely spent any time outdoors, if at no other time than when her carrier was dumped over the Y fence. Devi was born to a shelter cat at the shelter, Loki to my neighbor's health aid's cat and only lived in apartments. So, yeah.

I was curious, I played other hawk cries, all the same alarm from the Pumpk. And disinterest from the rest.

Steroid shot IN THE ASS

I got that 10 days ago for my stupid sinuses. Steroid butt shots, unite!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Both of my cats were ears up and came to me to try and find the source of the sounds. Jonathan is still on alert

Went to add banana peels to the outside trash (tomorrow is trash night, it was time to peel and freeze this batch) and ended up shrieking and throwing them at a rat. I know they are there, I see them all the time, I just wasn't expecting one-though I should have been on trash night...

Punishingly Intricate

I always kick the trashcan before opening it and putting a bag in at night. Cuz of how a friend opened her trashcan one time and a rat jumped out at her. I would never stop screaming if that happened to me!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My sister got one in each cheek last weekend, during her 4 trips to UC.

This was just random skittering around in the alley next to my trash. Which has had my gone-away neighbor's trash in it for 2 days, so...and my lid id epically busted by the garbage men and...

...I kick mine too.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm actually going BACK to the doctor tomorrow because my sinuses still hurt like a mofo. I keep having sheer paranoia that it's really my teeth and they're all horrible and all need to be pulled...but the pain is really high up behind my cheekbones, practically to my eye socket. My logic-brain knows that's sinuses, not teeth. (Also, I went to the dentist 2 weeks ago, and my teeth are fine.)

If a steroid shot didn't work, I don't know what the next option is. I guess oral steroids, and another round of antibiotics? I'm really not happy about either option -- the first round of antibiotics messed up all of my good flora, from top to bottom -- but it's been 5 weeks now, and this is ridiculous. The doctor might just send me to an ENT, which is fine, as long as we can get this sorted out.
