I don't doubt that the passengers were miserable, but the rhetoric has really been over the top.
Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
but the rhetoric has really been over the top.
I should check out the NY Post headlines to see what they've done with "The Cruise Ship of SHIT!"
Gawker just asked me to help beta test their new features.
Uh, I've been using them to put up stupid "blog" posts for almost a week now. I'm playing along, but way to go to pay attention to your product. Still, I bitched enough about their lack of beta testing before, but, seriously, they do need to actually pay people to do this.
I'm looking at all these shows ratchet up the tension, and I'm beginning to think I'm not a fan of tension. But, say: Scandal, Revenge, Grey's, Suits, Supernatural-GA has managed to ditch 80% of any accumulated fondness I might have for their characters, so I don't really care so much. Revenge has me too confused about the truth of things, so I don't know what I'm supposed to be tense about. Scandal is...Scandal cannot keep escalating. That just seems like basic fact. And if they somehow did, I'm not sure I can keep paying attention. OD. Suits, on the other hand, with about the fewest episodes, has got me emotionally attached to the outcomes and moods of the most people of all of the shows, and Supernatural has me at--fine, you can break my heart, but don't kill, more than 20% of the recurring cast on your way out.
And, damn, Scott Foley is hot. I'm not sure I was expecting that. Not this much.
BTW, I got a travel advisory from my mother's job (she booked the tickets to PR through them) that recommended bringing your own condoms when you travel abroad.
(SARA)
See, Jamaica doesn't get advisories like that.
It might explain so much...
(WHAT? OR DIFFERENT SARA?)
BWAH!
I am so glad that sarameg was confused by that one too.
Lee, how far are you from Menlo Park? Because there's a Pharmaca there; I don't know about other locations, but the San Francisco one has glorious half price Valentine's candies. Fancy schmancy ones like Lake Champlain and the glorious Moonstruck. Still pricey even at half off, but so insanely good that they actually last longer; you eat one and you don't want to eat another right away, you just want to sit and bask in the afterglow a while.
