Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, I wasn't talking about
the boat! I was talking about Victoria.

About the fact that she killed the Initiative woman? That didn't surprise me much either, but I love when she said "I'll go first."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

FRIV!!

But I'm no role model in this regard. I have clearly designated "oh, nothing practical" spends from just about every "unexpected" bounty. And who the hell really has unexpected bounty? Not me.

Here are three classes of people Acura thinks are too unreliable to advise you about your next car:

  • spray tanners
  • mix tape makers
  • re-enactors

Damn, man. When I tell people that there are loads and loads of people who can't tell Star Wars from Star Trek and may know who Chewbacca is if you tell them, but will never think of him themselves...but no--apparently everybody is totally up to date with basic comic and sci fi background, and that's just so not true. Not only is this stuff not important, it's remarkably accepted that thinking it's important is dodgy.

Consuela, nah, but I hate it when that happens and I don't eat it because I don't like the... fermented and bubbly.

Cheese, you can always carve the mold off. But then, the cheese rarely lasts long enough in my 'hood, with our wine nights. Someone always makes sure to have the carmelized onion cheddar, the spanish goat-sheep-cow one with the port rind, a fruited stilton..and usually one other new-to-us.

Olivia's swimsuit for doing furious laps on Scandal would make her bobbly bits hurt the way she was swimming.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

That reminds me, I have some Roaring Forties in the fridge that's almost 2 months old. I need to get some crackers and eat it before it grows its own appendages and escapes.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Jessica, if you are still looking for examples of spontaneous speeches the engender compassion, there's the one RFK did on the day King was shot. I can't remember where he was, on the stump, but he was in a predominently Black area and gave a very emotional speech about not giving into the anger that was causing riots in other cities. Whatever city it was didn't have the unrest that happened at other places because of his appeal.

Suela, are you mad? Moldy rice in a tube!

But it's fermented, like wine and cider!
