So, true story, which is hilarious in light of how I expected him to propose at Christmas and was sad when he didn't:
Today is our 7-year kissaversary. I had lunch with my dad today, and while we were eating, he randomly asked me, "So, do you have plans tonight?"
And I'm all, "Uh, cook dinner in the microwave and surf the internet until I fall asleep, like I do every weeknight?" And then I started thinking, why would he ask that? He NEVER asks things like that, especially on a random Tuesday. And then OH MY GOD, did Tim ask him for permission (which, TBH, I am iffy about as a tradition, but I'm going to handwave that right now) to marry me???
But then I was all, well, I am NOT going to assume that and get my hopes up and then be all sad like I was at Christmas. No way.
(But I was kind of expecting it.) (KIND OF.)
I'm having trouble getting through Rubio's response to the SOTU. I'm definitely not watching the Tea Party one.

So cute! You two are so cute.
That's why it was time to ask - because you were Kind of expecting it . It was time and you both of you knew it .
Congratulations! I am thrilled for both of you!
WOOHOOO STEPH AND TIM
now to go back and see who I have to fight for the batman duties
I also have a brutal headache. Of course. (I'm pretending it's not there, but even a shiny sapphire isn't making it go away.) My life is so glamorous.
Happy Belated Birthday, -t!
Happy Birthday, Pix and Maria!
I hope this time works, Sue.
I kind of forgot about the State of the Union. Must go find a link

(I feel like I should toss more exclamation points in there, somehow.)
