NYC schools normally have the week after President's Day off (here we call it Midwinter Recess) but this year since schools were closed for a week after Superstorm Sandy, it's just Monday and Tuesday. Which is fine with me because having to explain to my boss why I need *two* weeks off this close to the end of the fiscal year...would not be fun.

My jacked up neck is getting better, but only as long as I don't tweak it. I just slept funny, which is so annoying.

I have had people get in my face and get really mean about acupncture: "You KNOW it's all bullshit, right? I mean, you know you paid someone to scam you???" And I was all, "MY MIGRAINES STOPPED. I don't care if it was a scam, it was an EFFECTIVE scam also FUCK YOU."

It could totally have been the placebo effect, but the headaches stopped. So I say booyah placebo.

Jelly-filled is common, too. I got ones that were red raspberry-filled, black raspberry-filled, cheese-filled, and custard-filled. My co-workers are all starting to bounce off the walls. Chatty co-worker made up a paczki song.
