Matilda has the day off (Lunar New Year) so we've already made a long excursion down to 9th and Irving and GG Park. Stopped by Le Video to drop off The Inbetweeners Movie and picked up several VHS tapes of Stingray (a Gerry Anderson show like Thunderbirds with the puppets. Except underwater).
Now we're home eating Girl Scout cookies and finishing her Valentine Cards for school.
I'm officially to the bored part of the not-school-day.
Timelies all!
It's Monday...meh.
(Nothing in particular, just a general meh feeling)
Do you want to bring her by here in an hour? We've got dumplings and king cake and coloring books, and she can putter around happily and quietly and you can get a break.
This is the first time I've driven (or gotten away from my own street) since Friday -- and I have to say, the streets are as bad as I've ever seen -- four foot tall piles of snow in parking spaces piled up by the plows. And Somerville "only" got like 27 inches, there are places that got in excess of 37 in Connecticut.
Wow. I didn't know people got Lunar New Year off - that rocks.

Well, you know...San Francisco.
That's a cool holiday to have, indeed.
So...Flight was cancelled again!!! HOWEVER, am now booked on Air Canada to London and from there on AA/BA to Dublin. Have left my power cord for netbook (which is now dead) at home. Am Paying $5 for 30 minutes on computer with IE browser from 1997, it seems. Can't open AA homepage.
Air Canada can't book me through to Dublin because they don't have access to the AA/BA flight. Can't check-in online because I don't have a reservation number from either site and my US Air one doesn't work.
I was looking for adventure. But I wanted it to be in Ireland, not in the freaking halifax airport!!
Oh and BTW, b.org is the only site that looks normal on this browser. I wanted to kiss the screen when it loaded.
