Sue, Philly's pretty manageable -- I would still say change terminals once your flight lands, just to be safe, but with the shuttle bus it shouldn't be hard or take too long.
There aren't a lot of things to do and/or eat in that airport, but the basics are there. And as far as I recall, bt is right -- that's the SEPTA train line, not a terminal connection. Look for the shuttle bus.
And have fun! Ireland! Bring back pictures!
So I have no idea where my train memory comes from. Certainly not Madrid- that was a fuckton of walking and stairs (sooo not disability friendly, but I found that true of Spain in general, both in 1996 and now.)
I'm at the healing point in my crowns I should think of flossing them. I'm askeered to.
Having had a couple crowns done, my advice is to floss very very gently the first time -- just pull down as far as it lets you without stress. If they seem to be sticking on the way up, pull the floss through.
It probably won't, though. The crowns may actually be smoother than the original teeth.
Yeah, I know. These are the mirror of the other two I got this past fall, though there is less scabbing. But it is there, and last time, once it felt like there was something stuck between my teeth, it was time to deal with it.
Have fun in Ireland, Sue!
Public transit is still not running here today. I think that is ridiculous! They can't run the underground stuff?
Timelies all!
The repair guy never showed up. Turns out the appointment didn't make it into the system after all. We've rescheduled for the 23rd. sigh.
Have fun in Ireland, Sue!
So as I was making my coffee downstairs, with all the kids upstairs, I decided to have a bite if double chocolate brownie with my coffee. So good, but even better I junk because I was hiding it from the kids.
Thanks for all the bon voyage wishes and airport advice. I'm sure there will be pics and posts.
Can I ask for some flight-ma too? The snow has stopped, but it's still super windy and I don't think there's been a flight that's left YHZ since Friday night. My flight's not until 5, so there's lots of time...but I am anxious seeing the departures board all reds and yellows.
Also, my mother does not know I am going. I feel terrible about lying to her, but at this point I think she will totally melt down. I am going to email her when I get to Ireland. (My dad does know I am going.) I don't know why I feel so guilty...I have lied to my mother a million times about a million different things.
I just had to shovel a 3 ft. drift from my front steps. This wind can stop blowing anytime now.
