Aaand she's lost another half pound. She was 7.1. Not so good.
I know where this is going. I really do. I wish it weren't just yet, but I don't get a say there. I'll just live knowing what's coming, just not when and having to make a decision every damned day.
It's easier now that I've accepted I can't really fix this. But the Bitchkitty is making it hard by still being my babygirl bitchkitty in personality as everything else about her winds down.

Watching the decline is hard. I kept looking at my Koogie, getting frailer and thinner and more like the Velveteen Cat with his fur rubbing off, and thinking, "I need to decide this soon." I'm glad I never had to decide, he decided for me, curled up in my hair where he was happiest.
Is what it is. As you know. I just have to whine about it now and then cause it wears.

I can hear the neighbors across the road as if they were in my front yard. Strange acoustics here. I hate it; it makes me anxious. Really glad I have cats who freak out about cars and people outside; when they're calm, I know the sounds I'm hearing aren't actually at my house.
