I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay msbelle! I say overnight visits for the kid and drinks for mom is WIN-WIN!

Whereas I am going to a school event tonight IN THE BITTER COLD (because I am a California wimp and 40 degrees is cold to me). No drinks for me!

So the fact that I'm scheduled to receive the meds between 6 and 8 today has to mean good things, right?

Right. Nurse is coming.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Crossing my fingers so hard for drug delivery and nurse news, ita_!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So the fact that I'm scheduled to receive the meds between 6 and 8 today has to mean good things, right?

I'd say yes. Because they are delivering some kinda big deal drugs.

Fingers are so crossed that home treatment works out.

Burrell, it totally got cold. It's at least 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday. And windy. It feels bitter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, I figure they can't let me hold onto that shit for very long. I'm leaving work in ten or so, and I'll call the delivering pharmacy on my way out, since they coordinate the nurse.

Optimism is stressful. Don't let anyone tell you different.

And, Burrell, FREEZING. I swear lunch was colder than my commute in. I'm totally inadequately garbed for outside.

I just saw a mention on tumblr that this special Fox News article [link] about sexual equality is using a lesbian wedding as their lead picture. But hey--don't ask, don't tell. They never need know.

brillig

Liese, how hard is your water? When we leave a pot of water out for humidity, we have to dedicate that pot to it, because the minerals precipitate out and encrust the pot.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I just found the most marvelous quote in New Scientist, quite possibly relevant to Buffistas interests:

"This year, experiments at the Large Hadron Collider unveiled a fundamental aspect of reality: Comic Sans is the most divisive font in the world."

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So I have had my eyes dilated and my eyesight is wonky. How long do I have to put up w/ this. Does anyone know?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Billyt,

The font Hillary Clinton used for her resignation letter was TERRIBLE. I had a strong negative reaction to it.

BT, you just reminded me that I meant to repost these two font-related rebuttals here. Thanks:

Look! A crappy picture of my mother receiving an award from the university for outstanding research publication. She is looking so much better than just over a year ago, it's amazing.

Plus! Award!

I should go home now.
