Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It turns out, when you remove leadership from one whole section of the company you have to do a lot of shifting of people really quickly. All those shifts are coming from or into my department. I just had to draft the announcement. No one has an answer for me on how this impacts who I support. I foresee at least 2 more weeks of chaos, then a month or so of general unorganizedness. Then a calm of 1-2 months followed by reorganization.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Not really, Liese. But I love hearing about it!

Hee. Well, and I benefit from your urban lives.

Well, you could bake... some of us are baking today

I could bake! I should bake, actually, because I'm thinking about abstaining from wheat for Lent, so I should totally carb up now.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

'Suela,

You are probably on top of this, but your father's decline sounds like he may have been having some mini-strokes. The timing sound familiar to what my friend's father is going through.

...my life really isn't like your lives, is it?

I was taking our housemate to the train this morning, and I passed one of the neighbors a few blocks over who was taking her string of horses for a morning amble down the street. Every now and then I am reminded that I do live in the west.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I love snickerdoodles, Burrell. Some of it is cinnamon, and some is probably the silly name. But I did have two little Debbie krispie things that were dyed red and pink for Valentine's. They are nice in a FrankenKitchen sort of way.

quite possibly, yeah. We seem to have strokes in the family, rather than heart disease or cancer. Oddly enough it's on both sides, so I mostly know what's going to get me.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup, someone was riding down our street a few days ago, with their Australian shepherds, who Seabiscuit was very excited to see. They were serious working dogs, though, not leading a life of leisure like our pup.

That was the same day as my facebook status with the overheard at the gas station: "Hey, man, can we look at your cow?"

Thrive to spite them

Teppy - I've been trying to find an excuse to try the 3 Penny Taproom.

Will called, there's not a lot of snow in his neck of the woods and I read on Facebook Rutland has very little snow.

The National Weather Service forecast doesn't look accurate. I went out to look at the pretty snow and someone was jogging. It made me briefly consider walking to the library but I think I'll make brownies instead.

Micro strokes are different from mini strokes, right?
