I eventually figured it out - entourage.

Pretty much all day on the GBR, then dinner on the town ( I owe people some wine from last night, the 6 bottles I took to the roadhouse notwithstanding.) Then a free day in Cairns and then flights from hell.

My youngest nephew's jaw actually dropped at totality. Paul, this giant English bear of a man ,choked up and exchanged man hugs with the jokester from Brunei for whom it was also a first eclipse. They are a really lizard rain experience. I'll share more when I have a real keyboard.
