I got a LinkedIn invite from a name that looked completely foreign to me. And it didn't list a reason the way it normally does. But when I clicked on it I remembered the guy--we worked together in Michigan.
But he's not listing that job on his resume. We were never close or anything--I certainly don't know him well enough to ask "Why are you lying???" but that's damned shady. So I clicked on a couple other former co-workers, and their memory of their time there doesn't always jibe with mine.
Interesting, but also flummoxing.
I've seen photos of ita with a fade.
Speaking of hair, mine is in desperate need of color and... and... something else too. Maybe it's just the weather, but my hair looks mopey.
I'm feeling good about my stupid bangs, hair-changing-wise. A couple of people have said my hair looks good!

There was this [link] which ended up morphing into this [link] Good times.
I can't believe I ever put that much follicular responsibility in the hands of another. Things have surely changed.
I'm having ice cream for lunch. I meant to have lunch lunch and then go upstairs for the free ice cream, but I got distracted and just went upstairs. I can't even finish two scoops--how was I supposed to have some after lunch?
I went out and got a virtuous salad and came back to find the owner was treating everyone to Mexican from the place downstairs. Hmph.

I really like that on you.
I need a haircut like mad.

I always try to tell people when I love their hair, because no one ever expects it and everyone usually looks really pleased to hear it.
This is how I always think of you first, ita.
I brought something downstairs to the after-hours FedEx box, planning to pay for it myself since I didn't have our account number, but found someone from the related department had left their own package sitting on top of the box! So I used their number, and bob's your uncle.
So, Robin Sachs died, and he had two gorgeous Pitt bulls that need homes before March 1. I have the link on my Facebook if any of you care to share that link (if you please would)?
Timelies all!
Why do I never remember that the breaking-in period for my walking shoes always involves significant rubbing against my achilles tendon? (Didn't realize how bad it was yesterday until I was undressing and found blood on the hem of my pants. Today I have a bandaid in place)
Can people who don't use Facebook share the link, javachik?
