The last guy who cut my hair tried to *style* my hair, and I gave in because it seemed the fastest way to end the conversation. So I let him line up or whatever that's called. A fade would be an actual style, so the question is--can I be as lazy growing one of those out as with the all-over buzz cut?
Consider me piqued--I haven't had a hairstyle since the beginning of being blonde.

Yup. A fade would grow out fine. Most supershort haircuts are slightly longer on top (relative to the sides and back) anyway.
I want one of these. I don't care that it's impracticable and probably very expensive.
