Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry about your co-worker, Suzi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a co-worker who won't do anything I suggest if she knows it was my idea. I have to ask other people to suggest stuff to her, and she's the primary developer on my project. It's kinda tiresome.

We both report to the same manager, and I told our manager that she professed a reluctance for my suggestions because she does not want to participate in "rogue development."

I....I don't even know. I did not smack her down when she pulled her "...and if you were a developer you'd know that." but she's perfectly willing to sound nuts in order to push back.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I have a co-worker who won't do anything I suggest if she knows it was my idea.

Well, that sounds familiar. My Nemesis isn't so straightforward: she merely doesn't do the work I ask her to do, doesn't tell me anything I need to know to do my job correctly, doesn't cc me on emails involving my sites, and refuses to eat my pumpkin bread. She's the queen of passive-aggressive undercutting.

I'm sorely tempted to bake pumpkin bread for my last day here and leave the whole loaf on her desk.

Our wings are not tired.

I suppose the Ministry of Magic wouldn't let them put "For Use After Dementor Encounters" on it.

I GOT THIS!!

(4 chapters into book 3, ftr.)

meara - Feb 05, 2013 1:50:05 pm PST #10062 of 30001

Well, what I actually did was cc her on an email to my "superior" asking her to confirm that this was needed, and pointing out that it had been requested three times in three months. The email was a BIT snippy, but I tried to control. (Supervisor confirmed, truculent person them cc'd HER supervisor and basically said "we won't do it now but we will include it in our annual report" (instead of sending it sooner)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Completely unrelated to the 2 firings in our department 5 people were fired yesterday. 2 of them were VPs. holy shit balls is kinda the mood here. This was apparantly related to an EEOC whooha.

I swear, putting in that project two weeks ago has killed my brain.

I'm just dropping balls left right and centre. I can't even make excuses for myselt. I don't know why I can't keep the right facts on the top of my mind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My response is something like "fuck you".

IF ONLY.

Yikes.

In my-job news, the higher-ups just decided today to try to head additional brouhaha off at the pass. I think it's a good call, but it would have been nice if they had made it last week.

You know what else is bullshit? The first significant snow in our forecast, and it's for FRIDAY NIGHT. I don't need that shit!

Because books.

Good god, msbelle. That sounds horrible.

Consuela, the plan should be to have someone else give her pumpkin bread and say they made it. And then you make it with all salt instead of sugar or something, and watch her take a bite.
