I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Because books.

Oh, Suzi. I'm so sorry.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Jesus, Suzi, that's awful!

I'm so sorry.

We lost a coworker to cancer last August, but at least we'd had more than a couple of weeks to adjust to her illness, and it was clear she wasn't doing that well.

Because books.

Meanwhile, the owner of the company wants all the office spaces to match attractively, so we have giant stacks of new IKEA stuff to put together, but we were apparently denied a printer under $100.

Because why would the editorial department need a printer? @@

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry, Suzi.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh no, Suzi. It's terrible when it's that sudden.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Suzi, I'm sorry.

This month can just fuck off and die, for all I care at this point.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I knew about her passing from a very long, thoughtful message on Caring Bridge from her brother. Our big boss just sent out a message to our whole group. It is easy to forget that people not in our corner had no clue what was going on. My manager had no clue - it just all went down so fast.

Sometimes my job is fun - I'm processing an order right now for a certain comic book feature film sequel starring RDJ in a bright red metal suit. (Spoiler alert: they're licensing news footage of an explosion. I know, I know, I was surprised too.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

All sympathies, Suzi and office.
