There was this chick at krav who some of the guys talked trash about--she was wont to wear tops cut down to her navel and press her boobs against the arms of the highest ranking man in the room. Let's just say, they weren't kind.
A few years ago, I'm going through Comic Con reportage, and boom! I mean, whoa. How often do you find out that not only is someone you know a cosplayer, but they're kinda
the
cosplayer. For a year or so, if you googled "wonder woman cosplay" she came up first. Even now, if you throw "comic con" into that search, she's in the top 10.
But what I couldn't work out was--did this work in her favour with the guys, or what?
I suppose they were the kind of shits who'd have slept with her anyway, even if they talked trash.

panel at Wondercon. And then I discovered that, yeah, she's pretty well known.
Turns out the change helped me. I got to Tally and went to get my luggage only it hadn't gotten there. Turns out my original plane taxied and then had mechanical problems and was delayed. So Mom and I had late lunch and then got my suitcase.
Ow. Came home from date with migraine. Tried to sleep. Took painkiller. Eventually gave in and took strong meds. Now not in pain but feel like a truck ran me over--somehow the zomig makes me feel like someone drained out all the energy of each of my muscles. I hate wasting the whole damn day. Argh.
I want dinner, but I don't want to cook and I don't want to go outside. I could order delivery...

Do people normally stick to one outfit? Because I see that pic I linked to was last year, but the first time I saw her had to be four years ago or so.
I think hardcore cosplayers spent a lot of time and money on their outfits, so it would make sense to get a lot of mileage out of them.
Dinner was leftover rice and beans from a work lunch, heated up in a skillet, then rolled in flour tortillas with some cheddar cheese, thrown in the oven to melt the cheese. mac loves them. glad I brought these leftovers home - that is some cheap eating.
I finally prepped for restocking the freezer with chili, and also have the stuff for a good grain salad for this week. I have been so out of the habit of cooking, and it's no good for my wallet or waistline!
