I actually think Clooney is pretty awesome in a whole host of ways, and if he didn't resemble a relative I'd be all over him and his spicy brains. But that family resemblance not only kills it, it actively grosses me out. I thought Out of Sight was a fantastic movie all in all, but... certain parts were cringingly watch-from-the-hall for me.
