smonster, so wait, the heart attack at 27 part WASN"T the lie? Weird. :)
He definitely got really pale and clammy and went to the hospital, and the company owner laid off me and the other employee because the lead carpenter had had a heart attack. I went to work for another company but ran into the company owner several months later at the hardware store. They eventually forced him to quit because they found out he was using the company cell for 900 number calls and "storing" company equipment at his house. Did I mention he also collected guns and carried one in the van? That part is true.
Okay, this is fierce...something.
Someone gave me a link to another pseudicide story, this one in the LA Weekly. I decide to peek at the comments, but I just got this far:
To quote TvTropes, the site that linked me here, and probably others: "This woman mind raped [Audrey] for two years." For two years, this woman was emotionally strung along, having her life played with like a puppet in this sick woman's hands.
It's not going to get richer for me today, that's for sure.

Oh, that one! That's the one the pseudicider got sued in court, but the court threw it out just recently, claimed it wasn't really fraud, IIRC.
And yeah, the irony is strong in that one.
Emilyn was (is?) a NYT writer, right?
She's with The New Yorker now.
Wow. Taste the irony.
Wow.

Actually, they get lower rates for higher-ranked positions, but higher rates for entry-level and low-skill positions.
Which works out to lower pay overall.

I actually think those are all cute (including the incomprehensible-in-theory fuzzy flip-flops - they actually look cozy). But my taste level aspires to be questionable.
