Ray Bradbury gave a commencement address at my college while I was there - not my graduating class, but I went to the ceremony. It was a lovely, tear-inducing speech and nice to remember today.

mac took money out of purse, lied about it, and then refused to go to the outpatient place because he did not like the consequences here and he didn't them there. fuck all. I am working from home (thank dog I never turned in my loaner laptop) and have cancelled what was to be day 2 with the new sitter. I think that's about the age when kids start to get them, since it's the age when they start being allowed out without parents, and the parents want to be able to reach them. Nine seems a bit young, but 12 or so, certainly.
