I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, msbelle, we have to get after it. I'll do one thing if you'll do one thing.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

What are people doing this weekend?

Sitting with my mother, walking the dog, getting some exercise (I've been really bad this week, with the wet weather and my sister's got bronchitis). Maybe I'll do some cooking. Catch up on TGW. Pay bills. Oh, and dinner with a friend tomorrow night.

I'm intrigued by Cabin in the Woods, but horror is *so* not my thing

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

What are people doing this weekend?

Tim's taxes, big kink party in Dayton tomorrow night, concert with my favorite local jazz band Sunday afternoon.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Yard sale this weekend!

And then joining the Y so I can take Dylan swimming. (The youth membership at this branch is only $128/year.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh yeah, there's a jazz and blues fest going on in Glendale too, but with the weather I'm going to consider myself lucky if I make it to the Sephora and Trader Joe's in addition to the game.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This weekend is Fringe, laundry, taxes, resume, cleaning and maybe Cabin In The Woods. I also need to start sorting and purging things in my apartment. My landlord has agreed to some fairly extensive work which means I essentially have to move out for a week. I've gotta reduce my stuff before then.

I don't think I've mentioned my recent brush with the Buffyverse here. I've spent the last two weeks working on a show with the Mayor of Sunnydale. And Tuesday during rehearsal Mr. Trick hung out with us for a little while.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am having lunch with a college friend who is in town tomorrow after skating. Then, going to see this comedian on Saturday [link] , then to Cabin in the Woods (I hope) on Sunday.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Things that got hit by lightning last night: Transamerica Pyramid, towers on both GG and Bay Bridges, Cranes building the new bridge.

And the plane my sister was flying to Newark on! She's still in Newark. 22 hours travel time and still not home. She hates traveling!

This weekend, searching frantically for business apparel that fits for the conference next weekend. HATE

Wait. While she was IN THE PLANE, FLYING?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

!! So cool!

While she was IN THE PLANE, FLYING?

Aiyiyi. I was on a plane that was hit by lightning once. It was fine -- planes are built to withstand some pretty heavy-duty shit -- but, quite frankly, TERRIFYING.
