I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Suzi - that's totally awesome! see, the manniquin came to life and ATTACKED her. She fought it off, protecting her co-workers and shopeprs, and it went back to its inanimate state.

And, one assumes, she was rescued by The Doctor. "Nice to meet you, K-Bug. Now RUN!"

eta: Hi, Cash!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My favorite shot of my favorite roller derby socks!

Nice! Also, Slaybird is totes checking out your new haircut.

Because books.

Poor K-Bug! I can't believe they didn't make her fill out an incident/injury report in the first place. H&M was adamant about that stuff.

I have to go over her head straight to my boss?

That's really weird.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I wish K-Bug liked Doctor Who. CJ is a fan...will have to give him this visual after karate.

She has never dealt with workers comp before and didn't know what to do. I had her log me into her company website and was really shocked that it took a lot of digging to find their workplace injury process and then link to medical providers was broken.

For added history, when she broke her hand before, it was a good 8 weeks before we got it x-rayed (my fault, I kept telling her to ice it). Then it was cast, surgery, cast for the whole summer. So hand injuries really make her nervous.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have to go over her head straight to my boss?

Yeeps. Awkward, as my daughter would say. (The 3rd grade use of "awkward" is quite interesting.)

My favorite shot of my favorite roller derby socks!

That's an excellent shot, Cash!

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're all fully aware of Lego Lord of the Rings, right?

I knew about the Lego sets, Cash, but not the game. Tempting!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac used awkward a lot in 3rd/4th grade as well - it was used in some PBS show he watched at the time, which is where I think he picked it up.

He now calls people stalker a lot which is odd and inaccurate. He draws no distinction between watching, looking at someone, and stalking.

Because books.

Sara's word right now is "hilarious". Everything is hilarious.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

A friend's third grader is the PC police. If you use any possibly shady descriptor, he calls you on it. Thsi would be admirable, but he doesn't make any distinction for correct usage. If you say "That is a black chair," he'll shout out "Racist!" It's kinda funny.
