When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do you think that most people think the stomach flu is related to the flu-flu? I just read an article debunking that and I hadn't realised it had been bunked.

My recent experience has doctors addressessing by saying, "Oh, you've been sick for two weeks and it's kicking your ass? You have The Real Flu" to distinguish from lesser viruses.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, I've definitely had to explain to people (educated adults!) what the actual flu is, what the flu shot does, etc. This year!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Until I worked at an office that gave flu shots, I thought 'stomach flu' was the only flu. Or possibly didn't know that influenza was also called 'flu'.

There is something wrong with this sentence (on a poster for a summer social at work). Like- what is a "food line"? And why is there a random comma.

Choose a theme, or a food line or show off your best chef skills! Your Choice!!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME, people use "flu" to refer to any illness that isn't obviously something else.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In lieu of Buffista Island, perhaps this would work:

Gently used submarine base yours for $17.5M (sub not included) | DVICE

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I always figured the unmodified flu to be influenza, and the stomach fly was gastroenteritis. No relationship other than the name.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

For $17.5M, it better be a hollowed-out volcano.

Because books.

I always thought stomach flu was one of the viruses ("bugs") that goes around.
